Letter Ff

Letter Ff for
FALL!

Fall sensory box...
found the big magnifying glass and it is a big hit.

Corn, acorns, pine cones, leaves, gourds, and a few jack o lanterns. :o)

We made Pumpkin Ooey Gooey Bars.
Yummy!

She couldn't wait to get them off the mixer so she licked them on the mixer.

Loves using the mixer (and cracking the eggs).

She is saying "ooooooh".

They didn't last long.

A fall nature walk to collect leaves.

She needed her magnifying glass.

Love the colors of fall!

We went to a Fall Festival and she got to see turtles (and hear some music, make a corn husk doll, and play with puppets.)

We matched football helmets and jerseys by color.
Ff = football :o)

She painted and decorated her pumpkin.

Obsessed with glue.

We have a few more fall projects to do and then we are going to do some Halloween stuff! Can't wait!

Little Hoot

This month the Kids Virtual Book Club we are participating in read Amy Krouse Rosenthal books. We read Little Pea and Little Oink (adorable books) but we did our activity on the book Little Hoot. Such a cute and funny story about an owl that unlike his friends wants to go to bed early!

Of course, we made an owl.
Marin loved using the glue.

Glueing her owl on her tree branch...

Now for the eyes....
Can you tell she is enjoying the glue?

NOSE

And now for some painting!

Handprint wings!

I had some iron on transfers left from the marathon shirts, so we naturally turned our Little Hoot owl into a pillow case! (I did this part because as soon as I said "Marin, the iron is hot." She ran away and wouldn't come back. She knows what 'hot' means. :o) But peeling the paper back to reveal her owl was fun to her!
I should have cut around the owl but I forgot.
Still cute.

And Marin LOVES it!

Letter Ee

For our letter Ee week, she.....

Painted a ceramic elephant bank! (Another Dollar Tree find....)

Loved it!

And because she liked glue so much, we glued tissue paper on a big E!

She played with her Ee and elephant magnets.

Stamped baby elephants (and other animals) in the Ee.

Another glue activity....an elephant!

We read Noodle Love to Eat. An adorable touch and feel book.
Marin loves touch and feel books.
Ee for EAT!

Then we looked through cooking magazines and found foods she liked to eat and glued in on
her plate.
(She likes sweets. :o)
Then we played with googly EYES!
